SmartStock ® is our guaranteed, full-service marketing program that offers Core-Mark customers key benefits of top category management, quality racks, and weekly in-store merchandising services. SmartStock merchandisers are program experts and are assigned to each SmartStock customer to merchandise their store on a weekly basis. These SmartStock Specialists order, rotate, price, write credits - they manage each shelf for each set -- and thereby assist the retailer in labor and merchandising efforts while driving store sales and profits. SmartStock is a unique marketing program exclusive to qualified Core-Mark customers only.
Beyond guaranteed full service merchandising, SmartStock ® provides retailers with a tremendous opportunity to increase sales at higher margins. SmartStock is focused on sets typically handled by a DSD and thus eliminates the need for many DSDs in store, therefore eliminating the time, money, and hassles of dealing with another vendor (multiple invoices, ordering, extra checks, etc). Further by leveraging the size, scale and primary supplier integrity of Core-Mark, retailers realize greater turns, higher margins, and a better consumer offer.
