Branded Coffee

Coffee dominates. Coffee remains the most ubiquitous product offering and feature of c-store foodservice programs. Some sort of coffee maker or brewer is found in 96.6% of stores with foodservice programs. Coffee continues to dominate, accounting for almost three-quarters (72.6%) of all hot dispensed beverage sales. Cappuccino and other specialty coffees round out the majority of the remaining sales.

In the current competitive landscape, capturing the full potential of coffee sales and profits requires branding. Since different retailers have different branded coffee needs, Core-Mark has developed a branded coffee portfolio to allow Core-Mark customers to drive sales and profits based on their local market needs. Core-Mark has three propriety brands: Arcadia Bay ®, Java Street ™, and Boardwalk

Each of these programs covers:

  • Full line of equipment
  • Range of quality product including beans and cappuccino varieties
  • Complete merchandising and instore marketing solutions
  • Range of service and support

At the same time, our approach to these branded coffee programs is to assist in fully removing category barriers for committed Core-Mark customers. As such, newly in 2005, Core-Mark now offers loaned coffee equipment financing through LEAP (a Loaned Equipment Agreement Program). Therefore by partnering with Core-Mark, retailers can now receive free coffee, cappuccino, grinder, and creamer machines. Some restrictions apply.
