Skills/Education/Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in a related industry.

Reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business development for divisional chain business.
  • Establishes definitive sales objectives, by category, based on assigned annual territory goals.
  • Calls on assigned independent accounts and devises and implements strategies for increasing sales and sales profitability, on each product category, while maintaining existing business.
  • Prospects and establishes new accounts throughout territory.
  • Secures proposed new accounts’ financial information and submits to Credit Manager in accordance with the division credit policy.
  • Manages time and territory by planning itinerary effectively and efficiently, and allocating call frequency based on the account’s potential value.
  • Ensures compliance with credit and returns policies.
  • Controls account receivables for assigned accounts and furnish updates to management as requested.
  • Supports and incorporates corporate and divisional marketing programs into account penetration sales strategies.
  • Provides customer service to assigned accounts by researching customer complaints and furnishing solutions for customer satisfaction.
  • Attains and reports competitive activity management for evaluation.
